How much hard drive disk space do I need?
Each song you download will occupy about 1 MB of disk space (this is a small amount). Your disk space requirement depends on the number of songs you want to download.
Do I need a specific application to download music on IslandBeats.com?
No application is necessary to download music on IslandBeats.com. However, Microsoft Windows Media Player, Winamp and Apple iTunes are recommended to play, burn and transfer MP3 files.

Why can't I find a song or music genre I'm looking for?
Sometimes record labels, artists, or other rights owners will not release a song as a music download. We are always adding songs to our library as they become available as downloads, so please check back often!
How do I download a song?
After your purchase is completed, you can download your music by logging into your account and selecting "Downloads." Choose the song you wish to download. You will have five (5) days upon purchase to download the songs to your computer.

When I try to listen to a clip, nothing happens. What should I do?

Where can I find music I've downloaded?
All purchased music downloads are saved in your IslandBeats.com account under "downloads" for five (5) days after purchase. Once you've downloaded the music, unless you have specified another location, your songs will be added to your Media Library in Windows Media Player or My Music folder in iTunes.
What if a download stops abruptly in the middle and won't play to the end?
The download process may have been interrupted by a pop-up blocker, which didn't allow the song and license file to download completely. To restore the complete song, make sure to turn off pop-up blocker and re-download your music. You have five (5) days to fully download your music. Once you have completed a full download, you will receive a certificate of accomplishment for downloading.

How can I download RingTones?
Please test your phone prior to Ring Tone download. Once you've completed the test as instructed on the RingTones page, you can add the ring tone to cart and proceed to checkout. Your new Ring Tone will be sent to your phone device immediately after purchase.
