Description:
Nearly nine years ago on the island of Kauai, I had the opportunity to meet a gentleman by the name of Paul Togioka. At the time,
Paul was a very shy and humble person who, by day, was an engineer with Verizon Hawaii and, by night, the leader of a musical
group called �Ohana O Kauai�. Paul was the banjo and slack key guitar player for the band. After watching the band perform, I
realized that Paul possessed a very special talent. It was evident to me that Paul had the �chops� and the skill on the slack key guitar
to make a name for himself outside of his beautiful island of Kauai. For seven years years I pursued Paul to entice him to record a
solo project which would showcase his talent on the slack key guitar, but my pleas always went unheeded. For one reason or
another Paul never felt confident with the idea of following a solo path for himself. However, in 2004, much to my delight, Paul
made the decision to record an album with me. �Ki ho�alu Inn�, turned out to be an epic project for Paul as it was a great debut for
him as an artist and it revealed to the public what a special talent he is. To follow-up his first endeavor, we decided to produce
another CD by Paul as a thank you to his new found fans from across the globe. In �Here, There And Everywhere�, Paul displays his
artistry as a first class slack key artist. His fans will enjoy his slack key rendition of the Beatles� �Here, There And Everywhere� and �I
Will� while others will enjoy his slack key version of �Over The Rainbow and White Sandy Beach�. On the traditional side, Paul offers
�Kaneohe�, �He Hawaii Au�, �He Aloha Mele�, �Lei Awapuhi�, �Kekaha Chimes�, �Pua Sardinia� and �Anolani�. Finally, rounding out this
project, Paul offers �Star of Gladness�, �Moonlight Lady�, �Molokai Mule Ride�, �Pupule Slack Key�, �Journey Home�, and �Estudio�.
There is something to satisfy everyone�s musical palette. To be involved with this project has been a wonderful experience for my
son Chris and me as Paul is a very special person. I am sure that this album will be another one to share with friends and family. We
know that you will enjoy this second effort by Paul Togioka. Take his CD for a spin and enjoy the ride.
